Hey Kids!
Are you ready for some Basketball
or Cheerleading?
Our church's, New Family Life Center at
First Baptist Lakeside is nearly ready!
We are looking for some boys and girls to
participate in a Basketball or Cheerleading
program called UPWARD.
We have a sign-up page, for your mom
or dad to fill out, so we will know who
is interested.
Then they will be contacted from the Program
Director at our church.
Soon you will be able to fill out a registration
form for playing basketball.
This is an UPWARD program,
it promotes character and fun
for every child by:
>Providing an evaluation system
that promotes equal and
competitive teams
>Establishing a one-hour practice
and game each week
>Implementing a substitution system
for each team,
allowing every child equal playing time
>Creating the opportunity for every
child to learn and
improve their skills in the sport

A registration form will need to be filled out
and dropped off at the Church Office
between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday
through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
on Friday.
Early registration cost per child for Basketball
or Cheerleading is $60.00;
after November 7th, the cost is $65.00
The deadline for registration is November 28th.

Register early! Limited scholarships are available, with application.
Evaluations:
Everyone must attend one Basketball or Cheerleading evaluation.
They will take place at the First Baptist
Church Lakeside Family Life Center as follows:
Last names "A" through "M"
Tuesday, November 10th, between
6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Last names "A" through "M"
Tuesday, November 17th, between
6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Last names "N" through "Z"
Thursday, November 12th, between
6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Last names "N" through "Z"
Thursday, November 19th, between
6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
