MARKING A NEW TESTAMENT
 
Many Methods:
 
 
The "Covenant of God's Love" is a pre-marked NT.
I will demonstrate another method borrowed from
"Share Jesus without fear" for use for any NT.
 
Sparking an Eternal Conversation
5 Questions - Front or Back Cover
Do you have any kind of spiritual belief?
To you, who is Jesus?
Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell?
If you died right now where would you go?
If heaven why?
If what you believe is not true,
would you want to know it?
 
Listen - Don't Argue
If last question is "no" - Do nothing!
If "yes" open your Bible to Romans 3:23.
 
 
Highlight Romans 3:23
Write Romans 6:23 in the margin.
- Ask them to read the verse out loud.
- Ask "what does this mean to you?" after reading each verse.
 
 
Go to Romans 6:23
Highlight Romans 6:23
Circle the words "sin" and "death."
Write the word "hell" over or
beside the word "death."
Circle the word "in" (or "through") which precedes
"Christ Jesus our Lord."
Write John 3:3 in the margin.
 
Go to John 3:3
Highlight John 3:3
Write John 14:6 in the margin.
Draw a cross near John 3:3
Draw an X beside the cross to remind you this
is the only exception to asking "What does this
say to you?"
Instead ask "Why did Jesus come to die?"

Write Romans 10:9-10 in the margin
 
Go to John 10:9-10

Write 2 Corinthians 5:15 in the margin.

Write Revelation 3:20 in the margin.
 
Go to Revelation 3:20
Highlight Revelation 3:20
Carry your marked NT with you.
Pray for opportunities to ask one or more
of the questions on the front or back cover.
Wait expectantly for God to move!
