MUSIC NOTES! 
"Join the Worship Choir"
We believe that God is calling His people for service in
His church. For those of you adults being called to lead
in praise and worship, we invite you to join the Worship
Choir. We meet for rehearsal worship on Wednesday
evening at 7:05 pm in the Choir Room. It is a time of
worship and preparation for our service of praise on
Sundays. You are invited to participate as long as it takes
for you to become comfortable with the music before you
begin serving in Worship Services. You have choices of
service times and your commitment can be as flexible as
you need. You do not have to audition. We are a
volunteer group of people called of God to lead the
congregation in praise and worship. Your heart
and voice of praise is the only qualification required.
We are excited about what God is doing in our church
and our hearts. Join us for a time of worship
on Wednesday evenings and let God release your
spirit of praise.
Some say we’ve got one of the best choirs they’ve ever heard. If you have seen one of our musicals or attended one of our worship services, you know why!
Music is a vital part of worship. The adult choir leads in worship every Sunday in both the morning and evening services. Special programs are also presented for Christmas, Easter and at other times during the year. Rehearsal for the adult choir is held on Wednesday nights after the evening prayer service.
Youth in grades 7-12 can participate in our youth choir. There is also a mission trip/choir tour each summer that gives the youth the opportunity to minister to others outside of the local church.
Musical experiences for preschoolers and children's choirs for grades 1-6 are also offered on Sunday afternoon at 5:15 PM. The children are taught how to sing praises to God. They also learn why it is important to offer our musical gifts to the Lord.
At First Baptist Lakeside we offer a variety of musical ministries for the entire family. These ministries are designed to meet the needs of each individual member and allow each member the opportunity to minister to others.

Preschool (4-K) Sunday 5:15 pm
Children - "Small Voices For Hymn" (Grades 1-6) Sunday 5:15 pm
Youth Choir (Grades 7-12) Sunday 4:45 pm
Adult - Worship Choir Wednesday 7:05 pm
