and Christian growth among the ladies of
First Baptist Church of Lakeside
and to minister to the needs of others within the community."
Ladies Ministries offers a variety of ministries designed to meet
the unique needs of a woman.

Ladies Bible Study

Wednesday 10:00 am and 6:00 pm
Ladies Ministry Bible study is designed for women to study and
understand the truths in the Bible, enrich their spiritual life
as well as open doors to develop new friendships.
If you would like to participate in the Prayer Chain,facilitate a bible
study, the "Friends" program, or the "First Place 4 Health"
b(iblical weight loss program.)

Throughout the year the Ladies Ministries offers a variety of special
eventsfor the women of FBCL and the community. This is
a great opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to
hear dynamic speakers and praise music. This is a time to
revive and renew your spiritual walk.
If you like to help decorate,
prepare food, clean up,
set up & take down decorations,
make phone calls, send thank you notes,
or set a table for Christmas (12/5/2009) and or
the Spring Tea (3/21/2010),

Retreats

From time to time during the year Ladies Ministries offers
retreats and day conferences, where women flourish in faith,
fellowship and friendship with Jesus and others. We also organize
the couple's retreat. You will develop
a deeper relationship with God, your family and friends.
Don't miss a weekend of refreshing your heart with enriching
activities,devotions and a lot of fun.

This ministry is designed to provide meals for church members
with respect to funerals and illnesses when the appropriate
Sunday School Class is unable to provide.

An important part of Ladies Ministries is to reach out to a hurting world.
Mission projects provide a tremendous opportunity
to help fulfill the Great Commission and at the same time take a
woman's walk with Christ to a new level. This year we are
sponsering a Laundry Detergent Drive,
Christmas Tree of Lights, Prayer Bear Drive, Azle's Good
Neighbor Project, Dinner Theatre, Pillow and Sheet
Drive, & Collecting School Supplies.

If you are willing to help decorate a large or small
