Serving the needs of our church family and our community...the various ministries of our church sponsor Bible training classes, host fellowship opportunities and retreats, stock our food pantry and collect Christmas gifts for needy families, plus organize churchwide events like our annual blood drive, chili cook-off, golf tournament and much more.

As they grow into young men and women they will not only find their own place in the world, but will work to reshape that same world. It is our goal at First Baptist Lakeside to minister to and assist parents as they guide their children through that growth process. We offer a variety of programs and activities designed to help children grow in their knowledge of and relationship with the Lord. Also, to help them experience the joy Christians can share through fellowship and worship. Today’s children are encouraged to reach for the future. We as a church accept the same challenge. By ministering to children, we truly are touching the future.

Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Center is an organization that First Baptist Church, Lakeside is proud to support. This Christian-based, non-profit organization provides counseling and assistance for women and families having difficulty facing pregnancy.

The hospitality of the Southwest is known throughout the world for its warmth and endearing charm. As a church here in the Southwest, we should be “most hospitable” because of the grace and mercy that God has given us. Please answer the call to hospitality. “The fields are white and ready for harvest and the workers are few.” Come and take part as we spread our love for the Lord with His hospitality.
