 Terry Sinclair, Minister of Music and Outreach

 
An accomplished singer, minister, teacher and producer, Terry joined our staff in June 2005. Prior to coming to Lakeside, Terry served as Music Minister at Trinity Baptist Church, Sagamore Hill Baptist, and several other local churches.

Terry has produced, written, directed and conducted concerts and dramas from the high school level through large evangelistic
productions--including performances of "The Glory" (Passion Play) for audiences of
4,000-6,000 from 1986 to 1996.

He has also served as Director of Choral Music Activities at Richland High School and was a founder and co-president of Followers Evangelistic Association, an evangelistic ministry group for vocal and instrumental performance in churches and public facilities.

Terry graduated from Carter-Riverside High School in Fort Worth and earned a Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance from Texas Wesleyan University in 1970.


Q&A with Terry…

What is your vision for ministry in the local church?
It goes far beyond music…praise and worship in this day encompasses music, drama, media, technology and physical expression that amplifies all that Jesus can be in life. Therefore, my ministry vision entails crafting a system of worship arts for use in all aspects of praise and worship.

Family, pets, etc.:
Married to wife Mona since 1967. 3 daughters, Cristi, Amy, Candice; 2 grandsons. One dog: Bailey, a 6 year old male Weimeraner.

Hobbies:
Golf, hunting, fishing, shooting, gunsmithing

Scripture:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on you own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
