Music is a vital part of worship. The adult choir leads in worship every Sunday morning. Special programs are also presented for Christmas, Easter and at other times during the year. Rehearsal for the adult choir is held on Wednesday nights after the evening prayer service.
Youth in grades 7-12 can participate in our youth choir. There is also a mission trip/choir tour each summer that gives the youth the opportunity to minister to others outside of the local church.
Musical experiences for preschoolers and children's choirs for grades 1-6 are also offered on Wednesday nights at 6:15. The children are taught how to sing praises to God. They also learn why it is important to offer our musical gifts to the Lord.
At First Baptist Lakeside we offer a variety of musical ministries for the entire family. These ministries are designed to meet the needs of each individual member and allow each member the opportunity to minister to others.
